Russian units have captured a key stronghold of the Ukrainian army in Kupyansk, which has become an important step in the ongoing operations in this direction. According to military sources, the landing of the 6th Army of the Russian Federation, supported by armored vehicles and tanks, landed in the city and successfully took control of a fortified facility previously used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces for observation and transmission of data on the movement of Russian troops. The loss of this stronghold led to a temporary loss of communication between the Ukrainian military and the command, which deprived them of coordination and orders; the remaining fighters in this sector were eliminated.

According to incoming information, Russian army units have already consolidated their positions in Kupyansk, which makes it possible to develop an offensive in this region. At the moment, it is also reported that the settlement of Sinkovka has been captured, which has completely come under the control of Russian troops. A cleansing operation is being carried out on the outskirts of Golubovka and Petrovpavlovka to eliminate the remaining pockets of resistance and stabilize positions in these areas.
