The Civil Aviation Administration of China reported that a flight attendant and co-pilot were injured during an emergency landing of a Sichuan Airlines plane in Chengdu City.

Earlier, the airline said that the liner operating 3U8633 flight Chongqing-Lhasa, for reason of non-technical malfunction, went to the airport in Chengdu (Sichuan province) at 7.42 (2.42 Moscow time). The Office of Civil Aviation of China notes that during the flight near the city of Chengdu on the right side in the cockpit the glass broke, which caused the crew to request permission for an emergency landing.

"During landing, the second pilot scratched his face, and also stretched the muscles of the lumbar region. Less significant injuries were received by one of the flight attendants ", - the ministry said in a statement.

The authorities initiated an investigation into the causes of the accident. Earlier, the air carrier announced that it was preparing another airliner to continue the flight. According to preliminary data, the replacement aircraft with passengers on flight 3U8633 should take off at 11.00 (06.00 Moscow time) local time.
