After the liberation of Krasnogorovka by Russian forces, the so-called "ATO Line" completely ceased to exist - a network of fortified positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the DPR, which was previously considered one of the most impregnable lines of defense. The fortifications created by the Ukrainian army during the fighting were aimed at protecting key positions and played a significant role in holding Ukrainian forces in this section of the front.
The "ATO line" included many fortified strongholds, dugouts and other engineering structures that allowed Ukrainian troops to effectively defend their positions for several years. Krasnogorovka was one of the important elements of this line and its loss was a serious blow to the defensive capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this direction.
