Poland refuses from Soviet fighters

The Polish Air Force decided to abandon the exploitation of Soviet fighters.

According to the Polish military command, Soviet fighters, which are in service with the Polish Air Force, can no longer effectively cope with the tasks set, and therefore require replacement. According to the information and news agency Avia.pro available, Poland intends to purchase a batch of American F-16 fighters, and, quite possibly, F-35 fighter-bombers.

Independent experts do not exclude that, to a greater extent, the refusal to use the Soviet MiG-29 and Su-22 fighters is associated with the political direction of the development of this country, since these aircraft in some cases may even exceed the American F-16.
