Poroshenko: there will be no trace left of the Russian fleet in Sevastopol

The President of Ukraine promised to liquidate the Russian military base in Sevastopol.

The President of Ukraine, Peter Poroshenko, promised to get the Crimea back into Ukraine, and promised to liquidate once and for all the base of the Russian fleet in Sevastopol. The Ukrainian leader did not say how exactly he intends to achieve this - by means of aviation, his own fleet or otherwise, but experts assessed Poroshenko's statement as aggression.

The Ukrainian president promised first of all to delete the reference to the base of the Russian Navy from the Ukrainian Constitution.

"From the Constitution it is proposed to delete the norm, which allows the basing of the Black Sea Fleet in Ukraine. After we return Crimea, the Russian base in Sevastopol will no longer be! ", - said Poroshenko.

Nevertheless, analysts note the fact that earlier the Ukrainian authorities made an unambiguous statement that they are ready to drown the Russian Navy, using for this purpose all possible means, including aviation and missile systems.

Independent experts in turn argue that Poroshenko is only trying to win a rating on the eve of the scheduled presidential election, since it is quite obvious that Sevastopol is located in the Crimea, which is part of the Russian Federation, and any adjustments to the Constitution of Ukraine are just a fiction. If we are talking about any aggressive measures, it is obvious that Ukraine will not be able to withstand the Russian fleet backed by aviation.
