Russian Human Rights Commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova published a list of 630 prisoners of war of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on her Telegram channel. According to her, all of them have been held in the Russian Federation for over a year. The publication of the list, as Moskalkova noted, is aimed at increasing the transparency of the situation with the detention of prisoners of war and creating conditions for the possible exchange or return of these persons to their homeland.
All prisoners are in satisfactory conditions and are receiving the necessary medical care. However, Ukraine has not yet confirmed its readiness to conduct a large prisoner exchange, although Russia has repeatedly indicated its readiness for such a deal.
It is unknown how many prisoners each side has.
