The Prague court found Dogayev guilty of hijacking an airplane

Evgeny Dogayev was found guilty of trying to steal a passenger airplane from Aeroflot.

According to the verdict of the court, Evgeny Dogayev, who tried to hijack a passenger airliner in 2006, was sentenced to 2.5 years of imprisonment, however, the verdict can be appealed to a higher authority. Initially, it was planned to conclude Dogayev's detention for 15 years, but due to a number of circumstances, the verdict was greatly mitigated, and it is possible that in the end the avtobodechir can get off with just one year of imprisonment.

Recall that during the flight, Dogayev not only insulted the passengers and crew of the aircraft, but also threatened the commission of a terrorist act.
