Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is heading to Moscow for the second time in a week on an official visit. This visit is due to urgent circumstances related to military operations in the Middle East.
Israeli TV channel 9 journalist Ksenia Svetlova commented on the situation:
“Bashar al-Assad is again going on a visit to Moscow, where he visited just a few days ago. In the event of a full-scale war between Israel and Hezbollah, Syria, stuffed with pro-Iranian militias and completely dependent on Iran, will not be able to remain on the sidelines. These are the questions that will arise be discussed."
Damascus has not made any official comments on this matter, however, in the event of a full-scale conflict between Iran and Israel, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen will also be drawn into it.
