When departing from Simferopol, the engine on the plane of a Russian airline caught fire

A passenger airliner crash landed at the airport of Simferopol due to a fire in the engine.

According to the information received from the passengers of the flight Simferopol - Irkutsk, the aviation portal learned that during the flight, initially the engine skin fell off one of the passenger airliner’s engines, after which the open flame was clearly visible coming out of the side installation. The very same incident at the flight departing from Simferopol occurred on the eve of the afternoon, but the airport services did not inform the media about the incident that had occurred.

It is reported that more than two hundred people were aboard the passenger liner, but no one was injured as a result of the incident. The causes of the incident are being investigated by a specially created commission.
