A passenger airliner crash landed at the airport of Simferopol due to a fire in the engine.

According to the information received from the passengers of the Simferopol - Irkutsk flight, the aviation portal Avia.pro learned that, during the flight, initially one of the engine of a passenger airliner fell off the engine casing, after which an open flame was clearly visible coming out of the side of the power installation. The very same incident at the flight departing from Simferopol occurred the day before, but the airport services did not inform the media about the incident.

It is reported that more than two hundred people were aboard the passenger liner, but no one was injured as a result of the incident. The causes of the incident are being investigated by a specially created commission.
