Prigozhin urged Shoigu to prevent counterattack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Bakhmut

The founder of PMC "Wagner" announced the intention of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to go on a full-scale attack and urged to take all measures to repel the strike.

According to Yevgeny Prigozhin, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing a counterattack in order to hit the flanks of the Wagner PMC units and release Bakhmut (Artyomovsk). Against this background, he directly appealed to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, calling for measures to be taken to prevent such an attack.

Prigozhin notes that currently under the control of PMC "Wagner" is about 70% of the territory of Bakhmut. However, Ukrainian troops are preparing a counterattack, which could take place in late March or early April. In all probability, the further success in the transfer of Bakhmut under the control of Russian forces depends on how successfully the UAF attack is blocked, although Ukrainian forces of at least 30 people are concentrated in this area alone (in the attack on the Kherson region in autumn 2022, up to 10 thousand Ukrainian military took part - ed.), which requires urgent measures.

So far, there are no official statements from the head of the Russian defense department and the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on this matter.
