Airbus has transferred the Airbus X6 heavy helicopter project.

To date, the French aircraft manufacturers have been able to implement not only the concept of the Airbus X6 helicopter, but also seriously advance the creation of this aircraft, but despite this fact, the management of Airbus decided to temporarily freeze the implementation of this project, which was primarily due to turn, an attempt to save some of the funds for the implementation of other projects, as well as the lack of great interest among future potential operators.

Representatives of the French aircraft manufacturer Airbus stressed that the “freezing” of the project does not mean that work on it will be stopped, however, the real time frame for its implementation will probably be shifted by a few years.

The French Airbus X6 heavy helicopter is a multifunctional air vehicle that can be used to carry passengers in the oil and gas industry, transport VIPs, etc. Depending on the cabin configuration, an Airbus X6 helicopter can accommodate up to 19 people, and the air vehicle itself has a long range.

It is assumed that the implementation of the project of the Airbus X6 helicopter, the work on which began in the 2015 year, will be scheduled for the 2022 year, but no official statements have been made on this matter.
