Russia will not tolerate flights of American reconnaissance aircraft near its borders.

According to Russian military experts, the incident that took place last Tuesday between a Russian Su-27 fighter and a US reconnaissance aircraft is nothing more than a provocation by the United States. According to representatives of the Ministry of Defense, any attempt at provocations by the United States will be immediately stopped, especially when it comes to the previously uncoordinated route of flights of a foreign reconnaissance aircraft near the Russian borders.

In turn, the US State Department accuses Russia of violating flight safety rules, noting that the Russian fighter flew at a distance of only six meters from their reconnaissance aircraft, which could have caused the collision.
