The President of Russia spoke about a new weapon breaking through any missile defense system in the world.

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin spoke about the latest Russian innovative development, which crosses out the capabilities of all existing missile defense systems.

“We will do it, now it’s already obvious, because missile defense systems work against ballistic missiles flying along a ballistic trajectory, and we, in addition to improving them many times, also created other weapons that no one else has in the world”, - President in an interview with Arab television channels.

What specific weapons are in question is unknown, but experts believe that this applies both to ballistic missiles, in particular, we can talk about hypersonic missile systems, and operational-tactical missile systems with a range of up to 500 kilometers.

Experts do not exclude that such weapons can be very attractive to Russian allies in the military-technical sphere, especially against the background of how the United States is actively promoting its Patriot and THAAD missile defense systems.
