On the eve of the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the issue of the resumption of flights between Russia and Egypt could be resolved in the very near future. Any details about this are not yet available, however, previously news and news agency Avia.pro reported that domestic experts gave a positive assessment to one of the terminals of the International Airport of Cairo.

Independent experts expressed the opinion that, in reality, the resumption of air traffic between the two countries should not be expected earlier than 2018, and this is provided that an understanding is reached between the states on flight support issues.
