The President of Ukraine flew on the MiG-29 fighter.

According to the portal Avia.pro, the day before Peter Poroshenko arrived at the military airfield, located in Vinnytsia region, on the MiG-29 fighter to congratulate military pilots on their professional holiday - Air Force Day. The president himself was on the spot behind the pilot, however, this flight, according to experts, was quite encouraging to the Ukrainian military.

On the other hand, independent experts point to the fact that taking into account the confrontation with Russia, using the fighter of this model rather makes the situation ridiculous, however, the Armed Forces of Ukraine simply do not have the means to purchase other military aircraft.
