Petrozavodsk airport, starting in October, will be able to accept large passenger airliners.

At the moment, the reconstruction of the airport in Petrozavodsk is in full swing, and, in particular, as Avia.pro news agency learned, the restoration of the runway, taxiway, temporary parking of passenger aircraft, as well as the apron, is being actively carried out. in turn, it creates the main conditions for the possibility of receiving and sending passenger airliners.

According to the available data, the reconstruction of the runway of Petrozavodsk airport has now been completed by 40%, and given the fact that the WFP recovery began less than a month ago, it is safe to say that by early October the airport will be able to start operating.

It also became known from the information received that after the reconstruction of the Petrozavodsk airport, three large Russian airlines intend to start operating with a new air hub, in particular, such air carriers as Aeroflot, Transaero and Pobeda.
