American scientists have taught the robot to control the flight of an airplane.

As it became known to the news agency Avia.pro, specialists from the American company "Aurora Flight Sciences" taught the robot to operate a passenger liner, starting from the process of taxiing and take-off, and ending with landing. During the tests, a virtual interface was used, while the robot was able to successfully complete the flight between two points of the globe, having skillfully performed all the required actions.

On the other hand, it is important to take into account the fact that the flight can be complicated by various kinds of unforeseen circumstances, so that it is still too early to say that robots will soon replace ordinary pilots.
