Ukrainian troops have received another batch of weapons from the United States, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the Russian Public Chamber's commission on sovereignty issues and co-chairman of the coordinating council for the integration of new regions, told RIA Novosti. According to him, two cargo planes delivered military equipment and ammunition to the Polish city of Rzeszow, which is used as a key logistics center for transporting weapons to Ukraine.
Rogov emphasized that the United States continues to increase supplies of military equipment and ammunition to the Kyiv regime.
"The arms supply scheme established by the previous US President Joe Biden remains active. I hope Donald Trump will have the wisdom and courage to stop this scheme," - he declared.
Russia has repeatedly expressed concern about arms deliveries to Ukraine, considering them a serious threat to the conflict resolution process. According to Moscow, such actions not only prolong military actions, but also effectively involve NATO countries in the conflict. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted that any arms shipments to Ukraine are a legitimate target for Russian troops.
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry also pointed to the direct involvement of Western countries in the conflict not only through arms supplies, but also through the training of Ukrainian troops in the UK, Germany, Italy and other countries. The Kremlin claims that "pumping Ukraine with weapons" only worsens the situation, hindering negotiations and worsening the prospects for a peaceful settlement.
