Russia and China will sign a memorandum on cooperation in the aircraft construction sector.

According to the resource Avia.pro, the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the United Aircraft Corporation and Aero Engine Corporation of China means that in the near future specialists from the two countries will begin joint development of the passenger wide-body long-haul liner.

The new project assumes the total amount of financing in the amount of 13 billion dollars, moreover, the launch of the passenger airliner is scheduled for 2027 year, while in 2025 it is expected that the aircraft will be able to make its first flight.

Any details about the project of a wide-body liner are not yet available.
