From now on air communication between Ukraine and Russia has officially stopped.

A day earlier, an information resource Avia.pro already mentioned the fact that Russia and Ukraine failed to reach an agreement upon the lifting of sanctions, which in turn led to a very significant difficulties in terms of passenger traffic between the two countries. Previously it was assumed that the closure of airspace could seriously hit the flights of Russian airlines in EU countries, however, this information was later officially denied.

Nevertheless, it is necessary to specify also the fact that, despite the absence of direct flights, the citizens of Ukraine, as well as Russians may enter the territory of a neighboring country, however, it will have to carry out flights over the capital of Belarus.
