Coronavirus was first detected in Belarus.

A few hours ago, the first case of the Covid-19 coronavirus was detected on the territory of Belarus. Due to the virtually open borders between Belarus and Russia, experts believe that Moscow may close free movement between the two countries.

According to the Belarusian media, the first case of the Covid-19 coronavirus was recorded a few hours ago in a student of the Belarusian National Technical University. We are talking about an Iranian citizen studying at one of the faculties of a Belarusian university.

According to a number of data, several Belarusian students were hospitalized with an Iranian citizen, and therefore, there is a very high risk of the spread of the disease, including to the territory of Russia.

“It is too early to talk about the closure of flights between the two countries, however, if the incidence of the Covid-19 coronavirus continues to increase, then mandatory control is required for all citizens arriving by air or ground from neighboring Belarus”, - the analyst notes.

It should be noted that according to statistics, the main way of spreading the Covid-19 coronavirus between the countries of the world is air communication.
