Russia is discussing with its partners the possibility of deploying long-range weapons on their territory

Russia is actively considering the possibility of deploying long-range weapons on the territory of its foreign partners. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergei Ryabkov spoke about this in an interview with TASS. According to him, negotiations are being conducted with both Asian and Latin American countries, with which Russia has close partnerships in the security sphere.

Ryabkov noted that the discussion of this issue is taking place against the background of the general security situation, which requires increased coordination and cooperation with allies. The diplomat emphasized that specific options for deploying long-range weapons are being considered with a number of partners.

Earlier in June, President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is not currently supplying long-range weapons to other countries, but reserves the right to do so in the future. According to the head of state, supplies of long-range weapons could become a mirror response to the actions of the West, which is actively supplying Ukraine with modern types of weapons.
