Russia left NATO without giants

Russia will stop providing Ruslans for the transportation of Western military supplies.

The French edition of Challenges published an article stating that from 2019, the Russian company Volga-Dnepr will stop providing services to the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance for the transportation of oversized cargo by An-124-100 Ruslan transport aircraft.

"Vladimir Putin cuts the wings of the French Air Force", - quotes the resource Avia.pro, the publication "Challenges".

In fact, Russian AN-124-100 Ruslan planes are often used by NATO member countries - at least two dozen states are interested in the operation of these giant aircraft, which can be a serious blow to the North Atlantic alliance. France and Germany show the greatest interest in the operation of the AN-124-100 Ruslan planes, and it is important to take into account that if Germany is courteous enough to Russia, calling this country its important strategic partner, recently France has shown itself in relation to Russia numerous claims, often unreasonable.

"The termination of the provision of services of An-124 transport aircraft to NATO countries will definitely create a lot of problems for the members of the North Atlantic Alliance, however, the problem is likely to be temporary, since NATO may well switch to using the services of heavy transport aircraft from other countries.", - the Avia.pro specialist comments on the French edition.

* An-124 "Ruslan" - Soviet heavy long-range transport aircraft developed by the OKB im. O. K. Antonova. The largest and most-lifting serial cargo aircraft in the world (in 1982-1988 it was also the largest aircraft in the world in terms of dimensions).

Very interesting and to whom to turn?
