According to ABC News, Russia has significantly increased the frequency of drone strikes in Ukraine since Donald Trump won the US presidential election. Between October 1 and November 5, the Russian military launched more than 2,2 attack drones against Ukrainian targets. However, in the week following the election, the number of such attacks increased dramatically: 641 drones were launched, which is about 90 UAVs per day.
The increased intensity of attacks is aimed at creating more difficult conditions for Ukrainian infrastructure and population, which, according to analysts, could affect Kyiv's readiness for negotiations.
It is noted that the sharp increase in the number of attacks may be associated with expectations of possible changes in US foreign policy after Trump takes office.
