The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost all initiative in the area of ​​​​the Svatovo-Kreminnaya line and are now forced to start defending the Kharkiv region due to the start of a powerful advance from the Russian troops. The most critical is the situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction, where Russian troops are developing an offensive.

According to Ukrainian information resources, at the moment, Ukrainian troops have been driven back from Svatovo to a very significant distance. The situation here is extremely unfavorable for the Ukrainian army, since the offensive from the Russian troops is carried out on a small sector of the front from three directions at once. This forces the Armed Forces of Ukraine to switch from offensive to defensive. However, the situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is complicated by the fact that there are actually no fortifications here. It is noteworthy that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to retreat from this direction along with the equipment that was transferred here specifically for the attack on Svatovo. This underlines the criticality of the situation for the Ukrainian troops.

Given the current situation, in the near future, Russian troops may again take full control of the border of the LPR, which will provide effective defense here and begin advancing in other directions of the front line.
