By this view came experts who evaluate the proposed state aid to domestic airlines in the amount of 20 billion rubles due to zeroing value-added tax (VAT). However, not all experts share this, noting the fact that in reality, due to the current restrictions on the number of block areas, the losses inflicted in 2016, the Russian air carriers may be in 2-2,5 times higher, and in fact, zeroed even if the VAT increase in ticket prices may continue.

It is also necessary to note the fact that the majority of domestic air operators are taking measures to optimize their activities, which is manifested mainly in the development of new air routes, including through domestic lines.
