June 23. Russian air carriers managed to increase their passenger traffic for 5 months of this year by 8.6 percent.

The data provided by the Transport Clearing House indicate that almost 31.5 million people were transported this year, and judging by today's data, the state program to increase passenger traffic by the end of 2014 by 20% will be completed.

It should be noted that the passenger traffic of air travel has grown thanks to the state subsidy program, however, even though it was emphasized last week that subsidies would be phased out from next year, airlines are in no hurry to leave the presented route networks, as this gives an excellent profit.
