On airliner SSJ-100 stop installing French aircraft engines.

According to the Vice Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, the French aircraft engines are of sufficient quality, however, the use of domestic power plants is not less effective, and moreover, this may reduce the cost of production, which in turn will make the Russian airliners more attractive to customers.

It is assumed that it is, above all, the use of domestic aircraft engines PD-14, which provide aircraft thrust to 20 tons, and in fact, make it possible to largely eliminate the use of foreign parts and components, translating thus producing more favorable conditions .
