Russian UAVs go to the Indian market

Russia enters the Indian drone market

At the aerospace exhibition held in the Indian city of Bangalore, the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Manturov made a statement describing the development of relations between the Russian Federation and India. He announced Russia's intention to enter the Indian market of unmanned aerial vehicles.

"We see good prospects for ourselves here," - said Manturov. India opens its domestic market for commercial airlines. First of all, we are talking about helicopter transport. And in Russia, "a good experience has been gained in a wide range of these types of transport."

Summing up what was said on aviation and, most importantly, unmanned aerial vehicles, the minister said that the Russian and Indian sides had entered into a preliminary agreement on the formation of a working group in the coming month. Its task is to identify potential participants in the project on the supply of drones.
