Cairo Airport is being final checked by Russian experts.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the resumption of air communication between Russia and Egypt since February this year. Despite the president's instruction, Russian experts still have to check Cairo's airport for readiness to ensure the safety of future passengers, and today it became known that in fact, the final testing has already begun.

Considering the fact that Egypt needs Russian tourists, most likely all the basic requirements for the organization of security, previously filed by Russian specialists, are observed, and as soon as it becomes known. that the final check by the International airport of Cairo is passed, it will be possible to speak about a full renewal of air traffic.

As for the Russian air carriers, according to the representatives of aviation departments, the first regular flights to Cairo will begin to be carried out by domestic operators already from the end of February, however, we are not talking about flying to other Egyptian cities.

It should be clarified that in 2015, due to the terrorist act on board the plane of the Russian airline, it was decided to stop the air communication between Russia and Egypt, which significantly affected the economy of Egypt, the activities of a number of carriers and the rest of millions of tourists.
