As part of the ongoing exercises near Kaliningrad, the crews of Russian attack helicopters Mi-24 Crocodile successfully struck the conventional enemy, destroying his technique, fortifications and living force, fully justifying themselves, despite almost half a century of age.

As part of the exercise, Russian Mi-24 helicopters struck ground targets from various distances, successfully coping with the task. When delivering strikes, not only rocket weapons, but also cannon armament were used these attack helicopters, which allowed effectively to affect both conditionally armored targets, and the living force of the enemy.

"Russian Mi-24 helicopters successfully coped with the set combat mission to destroy the superior forces of the conventional enemy, which emphasized the high efficiency of the use of these weapons and demonstrated the rationality of the further use of" Crocodiles "in the arsenal of the Russian army", - the expert has declared.

The Mi-24 helicopters proved their effectiveness, including when used against militants in Syria, where, thanks to their high flight technical and combat qualities, these attack vehicles delivered powerful strikes against terrorists, incapacitating equipment and destroying manpower.

To date, Russia has at least two hundred Mi-24 "Crocodile" helicopters in service with Russia, and these shock vehicles are actively used by other countries of the world, including Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Brazil, Cuba, Poland, Ukraine and etc., which underscores the unique qualities of this helicopter, the exploitation of which began at the beginning of the 70-ies of the last century.
