Russian Su-24 ready to accompany US destroyer Donald Cook on the way to Crimea

A US warship can go 30-40 kilometers from the Crimea.

The American military destroyer Donald Cook, entered the Black Sea, contrary to expectations, headed not to the shores of Ukraine, but to the port of Batumi, where the military ship will stay until Friday. Nevertheless, considering the data that the American ship also intends to enter one of the Ukrainian ports, analysts believe that as early as coming Friday and Saturday a serious provocation should be expected near the Crimea - the optimal route of the destroyer Donald Cook will be as once on the border of the territorial waters of the Russian Federation, however, a “reception” will probably be prepared for it, which will show that Russia does not intend to joke with the security issues of its sovereignty.

“It is logical to assume that the American warship will leave for Odessa from Batumi. Nevertheless, it is enough to look at the map in order to understand that it will not do without provocations - the destroyer’s route runs right through the territorial waters of the Russian Federation. Obviously, there are no suicides aboard the Donald Cook, however, no one will make a detour several hundred nautical miles, and therefore the American warship will most likely pass only 30-40 kilometers from Crimea, - the expert marks.

According to analysts, Russia can use its Su-24 front-line bombers to escort an American destroyer. This is primarily due to the fact that the crew of a warship had already encountered these Russian planes three times, in two cases of which, due to the impact of EW facilities, the electronics of the American ship simply failed.

"... the electronics of the American ship was simply out of order ..." - the Pindos must be told, otherwise they do not know. Although, the former crews of US ships, sobbing at the sight of our electronic warfare, all immediately described themselves and resigned (I didn’t confuse anything, comrades?) Now the new ones have been recruited somewhere.
