Russian troops have approached within 7 km of the main supply road for Ukrainian troops in the Donbass, known as highway T0504, which is called the “road of life.” This route runs from Konstantinovka to Pokrovsk, providing a critical supply route for Ukrainian forces in the Chasov Yar area.

On the way to T0504 there is only one village - Vozdvizhenka. If this road is taken by Russian troops, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will have alternative supply routes, such as the route from the north through Izyum or along country roads. However, these routes are much less convenient for supplying the front.

The situation in this sector of the front is of serious concern to the Ukrainian command, since the loss of T0504 could significantly complicate the supply of troops in a strategically important area.
