The Russian Defense Ministry reported a successful attack on a deployment point for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kharkiv region. The strike was carried out from a Tornado multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), which resulted in significant losses among Ukrainian troops.
According to the department's statement, the strike destroyed more than 60 Ukrainian servicemen and 10 pieces of equipment, including vehicles used to transport and control drones.
UAV operators play a key role in reconnaissance and fire adjustment for the Ukrainian army, so their deployment point has become a priority target for the Russian side.
"The attack was carried out precisely, taking into account intelligence data. This allowed us to effectively hit the target and inflict significant damage on the enemy," - the source reports.
The Kharkiv region remains a zone of active military operations. The use of drones by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this region significantly increases the Ukrainian army's ability to detect targets and carry out strikes. According to experts, the destruction of operators and equipment could weaken the Ukrainian Armed Forces' combat capabilities in this section of the front.
