Russian armed forces carried out a pinpoint strike with an Iskander missile system on a building in the village of Velyka Oleksandrivka in the Kherson region, where a meeting of the command staff of the 37th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was taking place. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry, specifying that up to 60 servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' leadership were eliminated as a result of the strike.
The operation was carried out using high-precision weapons, which allowed the destruction of not only the headquarters itself, but also the accompanying equipment. According to the Ministry of Defense, among the destroyed equipment were three minibuses and 12 cars belonging to the Ukrainian army. These vehicles, according to preliminary information, were used for the rapid transportation of officers and supplies.
The strike was carried out during an important meeting, which made the operation particularly effective in terms of disrupting the Ukrainian Armed Forces command in this section of the front. Information about the losses was confirmed by intelligence data received after the strike.
