Russian armed forces have reached the administrative border of Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, advancing in the Andreevsky direction. According to military correspondents, the first to cross the line were units of the 90th Guards Tank Vitebsk-Novgorod Twice Red Banner Division, part of the Center group of forces. The offensive, supported by artillery and aviation, allowed the creation of a bridgehead for further advancement, which became a significant event in the ongoing conflict. The incident sparked heated discussions on social networks and highlights the increased military activity in the border areas.
The forward units of the 90th Guards Division secured a position northeast of the village of Kotlyarovka, closing a large pocket between the settlements of Kotlyarovka and Novosergeevka.
The 90th Guards Tank Division, recreated in 2016 in the Central Military District, is based in Chebarkul and Yekaterinburg.
