According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the settlement of Uspenovka, located on the border with Sumy Oblast, has been officially liberated from Ukrainian forces. Russian troops continue active combat operations in the Kursk direction, seeking to consolidate their successes and liberate several more settlements in the region.
Yuriy Podolyaka, a military analyst, reported that currently there are fierce battles for Durovka, Olgovka and Zhuravli. According to him, Russian forces have already entered these settlements and are holding their positions, but active military operations are still required for their final liberation. Podolyaka expressed hope that these settlements will also be completely liberated in the near future.
In addition, assault operations are continuing in Lyubimovka, where Russian troops are also conducting active operations. Success in this direction could strengthen Russian positions on the front line and provide new strategic opportunities for further offensive actions.
