The offensive, launched by jihadists, supported by the Turkish army, on Manbij, forced the command of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Syria to send a large number of combat aircraft to northern Syria. It is reported that at least 10 combat aircraft belonging to the Russian Aerospace Forces and the Syrian Air Force were seen over Manbij at the same time.
