Russian helicopters will be equipped with new blades.

Russian aircraft manufacturers have agreed on the replacement of the main rotor blades of domestic helicopters, after the identified vulnerabilities in the application of military helicopters on the territory of Syria. Experts say that new blade has actually designed and successfully tested, in view of the conversion of military helicopters that will not take much time and will not lead to higher costs, but it will significantly improve the military equipment.

According to preliminary data, the new blades have increased wear resistance and fatigue resistance that at least 20% increase service life, which consequently more effective.
