Against the background of a series of threats from the United States to Iran, today the Russian ship Sparta II arrived in the Islamic Republic, which delivered unknown military cargo to this Middle Eastern country.

What exactly could have delivered a huge sea vessel to Iran is still unknown, but experts did not rule out that we could talk about additional weapons, including air defense systems, anti-radar and anti-ship missiles.

Earlier, the Russian ship "Sparta II" regularly delivered weapons and food to Syria, but at the moment there are no official data on the voyage of the ship to Iran.

Experts estimate the likelihood of a new conflict in the Middle East as high, especially after official accusations from Washington that Iran is behind a series of attacks on oil tankers in the Persian Gulf and the US embassy in Baghdad, as previously reported.
