Russia began to use the Su-57 fighter in Syria.

According to the resource Avia.pro, a Russian 5th generation Su-57 multipurpose fighter was seen in the Syrian Arab Republic this afternoon. According to witnesses, and this information has not yet found official confirmation in the Russian military departments, the fighter took part in hostilities, in particular, we are talking about the use of Kh-59 Gadfly missiles.

According to some information, which also did not find any supporting facts, the Russian Su-57 fighter launched an air strike on the positions of the militants in the north of the Hama province. Given the peculiarities of the use of this missile, it could well be used to deliver an accurate strike at the enemy, which at the moment in every possible way prevents the advance of the Syrian government forces.

It is reported that this is a relatively new Russian development - the X-59MM2 rocket, which was first introduced to the public in 2009. It is designed to defeat stationary targets with known coordinates. Until recently, this rocket was under tests, and, apparently, in the near future it can become one of the weapons used by modern Russian fighters 5-th generation Su-57.

Due to the absence of official comments from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the reasons for the presence of the Russian Su-57 fighter in Syria, as well as its participation in the hostilities, remain unknown, and it is important to clarify that for the first time Russian Su-57 fighters were spotted on the territory Syrian Arab Republic a few months ago, where, according to the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, they passed the stage of testing, and according to some information, even participated in air strikes against ozitsiyam opponent in Eastern Guta.
