Syrian journalist announced the occupation of Syria by the Russian military.

Syrian journalist Faisal Al-Qasem said that the main reason for Russia's intervention in the Syrian conflict with militants and terrorists of the Islamic State (ISIS, terrorist group banned in the Russian Federation - approx. Ed.) Is not at all helping the Syrian people for many years war, and the subordination and occupation of the Arab Republic.

“The one who assumes that Russia has intervened in the conflict in Syria to save the regime makes a mistake. She intervened to take advantage of the situation in which the regime found itself. Russia could not occupy Syria until it itself came to this position. If she were worried about the fate of Syria, then she [Russia] would have intervened at the very beginning to prevent collapse and destruction, but she left everything in chaos and then intervened in the conflict, not to save, but to benefit. ”- said the Syrian journalist.

Experts draw attention to the fact that, in reality, Russia intervened in the Syrian conflict only after the authorities of the Arab republic independently asked Russia for help, and therefore, the insulting words of the Syrian journalist are inappropriate. Moreover, it is known that Faisal Al-Qassem himself actively promotes the change of power in the country and is on the side of the armed opposition, because of which outright chaos ensued in Syria, and the current confusion in the ranks of the opposition is caused by Russian interference.

Moreover, it should be clarified that after the liberation of the occupied territories, some of the radicals previously opposed to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad went over to the side of government forces, which indicates the fact that it was the West that caused the civil war in Syria, since the radicals, factually, were left without funding.
