Shahed drone strikes occurred overnight in the Odessa region, forcing Romania to scramble its F-16 fighter jets. This was reported by the Romanian publication Libertatea. Due to the approach of several drones to the border, an air raid alert was announced, which caused concern among the local population and required urgent measures to be taken.

According to emergency services, about 10 calls were received with reports of the sounds of explosions. People reported loud explosions that were heard in different areas, confirming the seriousness of the incident.

Despite the appearance in Russian Telegram channels of information about the alleged penetration of drones into Romanian airspace, this information has not found any confirmation.
