The aircraft Piper Seneca PK-IWT crashed in eastern Indonesia

January 19, 2014. The light aircraft Piper Seneca PK-IWT of the Indonesian airline - PT Intan Angkasa Air Service, was heading to Surabaya (center of East Java province) from the city of Sentani. There were four people on board the aircraft, of which 1 was a pilot and 3 were passengers.

Flying over the city of Tual, the plane began to lose altitude and crashed to the ground. According to reports, everyone on board died. Indonesian police are investigating the crash of a Piper Seneca PK-IWT aircraft.

This is not the first case of the crash of light aircraft in Indonesian areas. In the spring of 2013, the Fletcher FU 24 aircraft crashed exactly one minute after departure from the airport.
