The German airliner, which was traveling from Frankfurt am Main to Atlanta, immediately returned to the airport of departure.

As it became known to the information portal Avia.pro from a number of sources, the passenger aircraft, carrying 276 passengers, about half an hour after departure, was forced to return to Frankfurt am Main due to technical problems with one of the engines.

It is reported that the identified malfunction could not be eliminated directly on the site, due to which the aircraft was sent for repairs, and passengers, after 2.5 hours were provided with a backup board, which flew along the previously planned route.

What kind of malfunction with the engine revealed the crew of the passenger airliner, could not be clarified.
