Airplane "CityJet" was blown off the runway during landing

The stormy wind blew the CityJet airplane off the runway.

The incident occurred with the direct landing of the passenger medium-haul liner BAe Avro RJ-85, which was heading to Cork from London, while, as noted by the air harbor services, at the time of landing, there was a barrage of wind speed of the order of 36 m / s.

Already at the touch of a passenger plane surface of the runway, a powerful stream of crosswind, the aircraft on board which at that time there were several dozen passengers deployed across the runway, and only at the last moment, the pilot took an emergency decision to increase traction and take off for another attempt to land the aircraft.

It was possible to land the passenger plane only from the second approach, while it is noted that none of the people on board was injured.
