As reported by the US media, the plane of the airline "Southwest Airlines", preparing for the flight from Detroit to St. Louis, was enveloped in flames. According to the Avia.pro resource, the ignition of the wing of the passenger liner was caused by spilled fuel, while due to the skilled actions of local firefighters, it was quickly possible to localize the flame, and only by a lucky chance no one was hurt.

At the moment, the Detroit airport management is investigating, while the main culprit of this incident is the operator of the fueling machine, which during the refueling of the aircraft shed several liters of fuel, the pair of which were ignited by the jet engine jet.
