Airplanes An-148 banned in Russia

Russian airlines have been banned from using An-148 airliners.

As follows from the statement of the head of Rostransnadzor, Russian air carriers have been instructed to ban the operation of An-148 passenger airliners. Such a decision was made after an unscheduled inspection of the domestic operator, Saratov Airlines, and therefore it is logical to assume that these aircraft do not meet the safety criteria, although no official statements have been received so far.

 

 

Experts believe that the decision was primarily caused by a plane crash in the Moscow region, when the An-148 passenger plane belonging to the Saratov Airlines carrier crashed, resulting in the deaths of 71 people.

It should be clarified that according to the results of an unscheduled inspection of the airline "Saratov Airlines", the Federal Air Transport Agency of the Russian Federation (Rosaviatsia) limited the carrier's operator certificate to 27 April.

Here it is logical to assume that the correspondents of this publication need to choose more clear phrases. They did not forbid, but suspended flights to AN-148 before the decision of the Moscow-Orsk flight crash commission. A common practice, especially for new models.

The enterprise is the only one in the country that was able to survive in the conditions of the destruction of Russian civil aviation, managed to preserve the traditions of Soviet professional training and, although with the change of ownership, professionals began to be neglected and many left and many "left", but, nevertheless, the enterprise lives on and works, providing air transportation on many routes, and not only from Saratov, but also in other regions of the country. The tragedy with the plane, the death of comrades had a very strong impact on the feelings of the Saratov Airlines employees. But, nevertheless, everyone continues to work, performing their duty and fulfilling their duties. Those who have never worked in aviation do not understand how different the mentality and approach of people to work is. And the An-148 aircraft are an excellent example of the Anov family, created for operation in difficult conditions, including in the north. Here we can agree with the fact that professional training in civil aviation in the country is almost destroyed and this applies not only to this industry. Education, including vocational education, must be urgently revived, we are on the verge of the beginning of systemic failures precisely due to the lack of personnel and the absence of the middle generation in the professional environment. Old people leave, young people lack experience and responsibility, and there is no middle age.

The liberalism of our aviation officials amazes me against the backdrop of this terrible tragedy! It would be right to close this unfortunate carrier already, and not only prohibit the use of this type of "flying coffins"! All the losses and expenses of the state in connection with this tragedy should be assigned to the owners of this "airline" !!!
