The cost price of aircraft SJS-100 within three years may decrease by 7-10%.

The information was announced by the president of the company "Sukhoi Civil Aircraft" held at the air show in Zhukovsky near Moscow MAKS-2015. Earlier, the information portal Avia.pro already reported that the actual costs for the production of aircraft can be reduced by 10-15% if using components of Russian production, and it is worth assuming that the management of the company "Sukhoi Civil Aircraft" independently recalculated the main cost factors.

Considering the published data, by the year 2018, the cost of production of passenger airliners SSJ-100 can be reduced by 2,6 million dollars per set, while the aircraft will become more competitive, including, compared to foreign manufacturers of airliners.

However, skeptics believe it is premature to make the information announced by buyers expect a decrease in prices, which, of course, have a negative impact on the amount of orders, at least for the next 2-3 years.
